Terms and Conditions of Sale
This site is intended only for residents of the UK, over 18 and legally capable of entering a binding contract of sale.
Non UK residents, wishing to purchase should contact us directly at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will email you on receipt of your order and on dispatch of your order.
Once we have dispatched an order to you the contract has taken place between Distinctly Living and you. If we can not fulfill an order we will contact you directly. We will be unable to fulfill orders where:
- Credit / Debit Cards transaction have not cleared
- Item is out of stock
- Item has been incorrectly listed on the website
- You do not meet our criteria listed in terms of sale
We reserve the right to cancel any order at any given time. You may also cancel an item prior to dispatch.
Returns & Cancellation
When your order arrives
In most cases, you have the right to return or cancel your order. Please see exceptions below.
All items are returned at your own cost and must be received in the same condition as sent out.
If you don't like the goods or have changed your mind, you can cancel the order, within 7 days.
If your goods are damaged in transit, please advise us as soon as possible by email with images if possible, in order for us to take this up with our courier firm.
When to cancel
You can cancel at any time until: The end of the seventh working day after the day on which you receive your goods; or The end of the seventh working day after the day on which we agreed to go ahead with the Service.
How to cancel
To cancel your order, you must write to us by letter or e-mail.
Refunds after cancelling
If you have already paid for the goods or services, we will refund you the cost of the goods within 30 days of you cancelling the agreement. Delivery costs are not refundable.
We are unable to cancel your order, accept in accordance with your legal rights when:
We have already provided the service within the cancellation period and you have agreed to this.
The goods have been made to your specifications or personalised. This includes the selection of bespoke colours for the Neptune furniture range.
The items are likely to go off or deteriorate quickly, such as flowers or fresh foods.
The goods by their nature cannot be returned. You have opened sealed CDs, DVDs etc.
