for over 15 years to create beautiful homes across South Devon.

How We Work

We only work with a limited number of customers a year and only with those where we feel we can add value.

We don't charge for our service but we do ask for a minimum of spend of £350 across our product ranges - excluding paint.

We cover living spaces, bedrooms and offices. We can also offer consultancy on kitchens, having designed bespoke and Neptune kitchens for over a decade.

What We Offer

Colour Consultancy

We have been working with 'The Little Greene Paint Company' for the past 15 years on a professional and personal basis. We love the quality and depth of pigmentation of their paint and their ever growing colour charts. We know which colours work and those which can be harder to harmonise in a space - we can help you choose the right colours for your space. We never advocate paint colour matching, the colours rarely match and the quality of the finish is never the same.

Mood Boards

We will create a mood board and 3D room plans to fully bring your plans to life along with a fully costed product quote.

Unrivalled Source Book

We have a huge source book, with suppliers and manufacturers from across Europe - so we are always able to find the most beautiful, unique and interesting homewares, furniture and lighting.

Bespoke Rug Production

We offer full bespoke rug and runner production, so you can be sure the rug for your space fits perfectly and helps create a beautiful and well balanced space.

Do You Have Any Questions?

What do you charge for your interior styling?
We don't charge by the hour but ask for a minimum £350 spend from across our ranges (excluding paint). If this spend is not met with in six months then we will invoice for the £350 design fee.
What does the £350 cover?
Inital consultation, on site design meeting, one set of mood boards and product quote for one core space i.e. living room.
Can we use products not sourced by Distinctly Living in the design?
Absoutely, we are happy to work with your existing furnishings or other items you source - minimum spend and or charge still apply though.
Where do you source your products from?
We work with whoever we consider to be the best for any given project - we have suppliers accross Europe and as we are independent we are not tied to one supplier.
What is your core style?
If you have been to our store you will know we are not driven by trends, fads and styles that easily fade and become dated. We love classic, beautiful well crafted design that will stand the test of time.
Areas Covered?
We predominately work in the South Devon area but we are always happy to discuss  projects outside of this area.
Do you supply curtains or carpets?
Where we cannot provide a service such as curtains we have the revelant contacts we can pass on to you. Our contacts include curtain makers, carpenters, plumbers, electricians and carpet fitters.
